Armed with a newfound sense of style and a whole host of other noteworthy improvements, the new-look 2016 Ford Explorer has seemingly set its sights on SUV-segment supremacy.

Though it's technically the Explorer's mid-level engine option, the EcoBoost iteration is anything but middling.
