A lease-end needn't be daunting. By following a few basic steps, your lease-end transaction can be smooth and rewarding. The end of a lease isn't entirely the end; it's an opportunity to explore other lease/purchase options, according to our Northgate Ford finance specialists.

Lease-End Options

Leasing typically includes a lower monthly payment than ownership. As a result, you may prefer to keep leasing. Our Northgate Ford team makes it easy to do so. Every time your lease-end comes around, consider:

  • Purchasing your leased vehicle
  • Leasing a new vehicle
  • Buying a new vehicle

Prior to Lease-End

Contact your originating dealer to find out exactly how to prepare your leased Ford for return. In general, the return of a lease entails:

  • A use and wear assessment
  • Possible repairs
  • Cleaning your leased vehicle's interior and exterior
  • Enclosing all items/gear that came with the lease

It's preferable that you return your leased Ford to the originating dealer. However, if you move out of state, contact any Ford dealer nearest you to arrange vehicle drop-off and the completion of a Ford vehicle return transaction.
