"Neighborhodd Ford Dealer"
I received this letter and wanted to post some of the improvements in customer service going on at Northgate Ford Lincoln.
Dear Neighborhood Ford Dealer,
On this day November 17, 2009, I was recently introduced to a new meaning of customer service, humanitarianism, and warm caring people. I am currently driving my brother's truck while he is serving his country proudly in Iraq. I am not familiar with his vehicle for the gas needle does on this day I was on my way to work and I ran out of gas. Not anything to report nor get upset about but I ran out of gas near your dealership and what encountered I don't think I would have experienced at any other dealership.
First let me reveal that I have been a GM guy my whole life. I have never even looked at a Ford product except whenever I watched "Gone in 60 Seconds". I pulled into your used car lot merely wanted to borrow a gas can to walk to BP to put a few bucks into get me on my way. I encountered three very busy yet friendly gentlemen in the service bay who more than willing to help me. ( Speaks volumes about their respective work ethic btw.) I offered to leave my drivers license just as a means to show I would bring back the gas can. I walked out to my car to retrieve my wallet only to come back and be greeted by a new employee named Dennis who was waiting there with a smile and a set of keys. I also came across another fine gentleman named Lee who had instructed a young man named Marvin to find a can and for Dennis to drive me to the gas station to full up!! CAn you believe that? Here I was going to walk to BP to borrow a gas can to drop a few bucks in and these guys offered to drive me down there and bring me back!! Talk about convience. It not only saved me a ton of time but I also made it to work on time and came in with a wonderful story tell.
I work in customer service and these guys could have been asses, jerks and whenever else and really put me off but even though I was not a customer, even though I don't have anything in service these guys treated me as if I had been with them 20 plus years. That is something I won't ever forget. Just based off of that experience alone I have referred several of my friends to your dealership and told them to give your dealership a chance. If the product parallels the customer service then your dealership should be number 1 for a longtime to come!! The way I was treated on that day was very comforting and you could tell off the bat that the people that work there are genuine, caring and understood that if they were in that same situation and it came through as a genuine bystander in need of a small favor, then they would want to be treated the same way. I live by the "Golden Rule" and it was nice for a change to see it reciporcated.T. Tubbs
"Making It Easy for our Customers"
I have to say this was the most pleasant experience of buying a truck that we have ever had. In today's world it is hard to find employees that like what they do and actually enjoying working with the public. We have purchased 15+ vehicles in our 27 yrs of marriage and your staff was by far the BEST at what they do. I put in a request on the internet to be contacted about a truck and WOW, I got a response within a few minutes from a Emily. We started the e-mail negotiations at 9:53 AM and we had a deal at 12:50 PM, THAT SAME DAY! I asked if I could come and pick it up to be in the driveway when my husband got home to make sure he approved of the truck and she got approval to do so and it was a done deal from there! My husband approved of my choice and we went back to the dealership that evening to do the paperwork. I really must have you apologize to your staff for us because we did keep them there until around 9PM getting everything done. They didn't complain once about staying, they were so pleasant and helpful it was awesome. From Emily to Robert to Tim and on to Vickie we were made to feel truly welcomed in your dealership. We love our truck and will be enjoying it along with our other new "toy" we purchased the next day, see below for pics.Your dealership will be the first place I refer my friends and family to when they are in the market for a vehicle, new or used.Thank you very much for making it possible for us to own a F250, aka Troy's Toy, and not break the bank!SharonMaking It Easy for our Customers!

My salesman, Brad Collins, made my vehicle buying experience a pleasure. That is a first for me! He is knowledgeable, courteous, and very professional. He gave me the facts and a test drive, and he let the vehicle sell itself. He was very thorough in explaining the buying process. He even went so far as to help me Sync my cell to the vehicle. I am very impressed with Mr. Collins and will certainly suggest him and Northgate Ford Lincoln to all my friends and family. Mr. Collins has single-handedly changed my opinion of auto sales people. Don't let him get away! I will look for him when it is time to buy another vehicle.

"Good Job Jason!"
My sales person, Jason Hume, was very courteous, informative about the different Ford Models and really knows how to treat a customer. I originally started out wanting a used Ford Edge. He took my phone number and was on the lookout for the Edge color and accessories I had requested. After finding nothing for two weeks, I decided to drive back to Northgate Ford and look at the new vehicles. I test drove the Ford Escape, but was not happy with it. I had previously test drivent the Ford Edge, but the purchase price was a little more than what I wanted to pay. I then test drove the Mercury Mariner and fell in love with it. It has my sun roof, GPS, leather seats, plenty of interior room and I loved the chrome on the front and chrome on the wheels. I felt so safe driving the car. I bought it and I LOVE IT. I usually buy Chevrolets for myself, but this Mercury is wonderful. My sales person, Jason had a lot to do with me buying it, because he wasn't the normal pushy sales rep I had always previously ran into. Thank you for my lovely, classy Mercury. The price was right to for such a luxurious vehicle.J.Woodward
